micromovements

family life

SARK talks about making micromovements if you are a major procrastinator or get overwhelmed by some tasks [pdf].

She says that if you need to clean out your wardrobe, on day one you open the door, day two you take out the shoes, day three you sort through the shoes…

It’s easy to see SARK doesn’t have kids. An open cupboard door and they’re in there investigating like a rat up a drainpipe… but you get the idea.

I picked up my guitar today after a ten year absence.

I thought I would just get it out of the shed, and the next day I might pick it up. But, it felt so good, I tuned it, revisited some chords, and even managed to get a song out of it. Just a song my littlest loves to sing “My buckets got a hole in it” by Hank Williams.
