the superhero in me is tired

December 18, 2010

family life

Because he’s lived too fast for too long,
and he still longs to be inspired.
I feel old, feel broke, feel cold and I can’t fight back,
It sounds so stupid I,
But it’s gone, this train won’t run,
Guess it must be the track. (Newton Faulkner)

working way too hard at the moment, it’s a bad habit, agreeing to too much extra work.

Perhaps, it’s the year for being selective? Steiner people talk a lot about breathing in (busy-ness) and breathing out (pausing). I now have a much better balance in my life because of their wisdom.

The title of your post is so true, and said very poetically!

A wonderful reminder that even the energetic one inside us needs a break now and then.

      Hi Santo

      Good to see you.

It’s a line from Newton Faulkner’s song Ageing Superhero.

He is very poetic and an amazing guitarist. I’ve heard that he gives most of his earnings to charity.

      Check out the song here…
